This sign is very noticeable, and set to max will still stand out even on a sunny day. It's dimmable, with ten settings to suit any occasion, and the lowest level (10% brightness) is good for night time.This is an LED light instead of traditional neon, with the benefit of a far lower cost price, lower running cost, and no glass tubes to worry about being smashed. You can knock this light without much worry.Mine is the 5 volt version, powered from a USB plug. The lead is plenty long enough, making it possible to hide the wire behind and amongst other display items, on its way to a charger socket. One word of warning is to avoid pulling on the wires, in case it damages the connection at the rear. If it ever stops working that's the most likely cause, and chances are it's mendable.I think this sign is good looking and effective, and the increased presence it gives you will help pay for itself pretty quickly in additional footfall. It gets a full five stars from me.

My wife is currently collecting "neon"-style signs for our new shed/garden bar, and this one is a welcome addition to the collection.The sign is nicely made with the acrylic back panel drilled either for direct mounting on a surface, or hanging using the supplied chain. Note - if directly screwing to a surface, the rear is not completely flat - where the power cable enters there is some protrusion, so for permanent mounting it would need four suitable small spacers (not supplied).The light effect is excellent - a "cool white" border and a "warm white" OPEN. It is extremely bright on the maximum setting but can be dimmed down to a gentle glow. The individual LEDs are quite visible on the "OPEN" but they are closely spaced, so this is not a problem. The illumination of the border is much more even, as it has a raised rubbery diffuser fitted.When switched off using the button on the cable (with the brightness up/down buttons) it remembers the previous brightness setting. However if USB power is removed then reconnected, it defaults to maximum brightness when switched back on. (It also defaults to OFF so it would not be possible to power it from a switched mains outlet + USB adapter and have it automatically switch on.For my purposes this is overall a very nice item. Highly recommended.

We have a little bar shack at the end of the garden and so I got this to go in the window.It is much brighter than I expected and is absolutely unmissable. It's great that it is USB powered but you need a decent adaptor for it - it pulls just over 16w(constant) and so I'd plan accordingly and get a quality adaptor that exceeds that - probably 25w. You can turn the dimness down with the included inline controller so you can dial down the wattage with that.The light comes with a clip-on chain from which it can be hung - it also has holes in each corner for screw mounting(I presume) but you might want to use standoffs for that.It's a high quality product that I wished had one feature - memory on/off. I was hoping that I might be able to connect the sign to a remote controlled outlet so that I have it coming on with the rest of my lights but it doesn't do that - you need to turn it on with the inline remote. I really wished it would remeber the previious power state.To summarise - it's a quality item, can be very bright but has to be turned on manually. I can recommend with this in mind.

First off, this is not neon as the description says, it is LED hence the cheap price as neon is both fragile and expensive. The sign is 16" x 9" looks nice and is well made.The sign has 10 dimmable light levels although I don't know why you need so many levels. It is durable, comes with a hanging chain.It is a neat sign, ideal to advertise that your business is open. Worthy of 4 stars.Just note, it is not neon, only LED.

It does exactly what I needed it to do – grab attention and let customers know we're open for business.
