I have tried two of these lamps for two different plants over the course of 3 months. Note that I have experience with other lamps specific for growth. These just don't work at all. Plants don't respond to them.

Purchased these for my pothos plants to give them an extra boost of light on cloudy/rainy days. The light has three temperature settings, several brightness settings, timer options, and the ability to use the provided clamp or stake depending on preference. You can unscrew the clamp to attach the stake and vice versa! The clamp holds well and it seems durable. The light is easy to bend thanks to the flexible and sturdy design. One grow light is perfect to provide a nice boost of heat and brightness for my two young pothos plants :)

Wow, a grow light that's also got many more uses. It's taken me a little while to review this because I wanted to be fair with it. Normally, what is there to say about a grow light that's different than it helps your plants grow? This is the second grow light I've bought and it's my favourite so far. Not only can you use it to help your plants grow during the dark winter months but I've also been using this to help soldering and as a general light. I did take a photo of a soldering job it was lighting up and I've spent a few days trying to find it and I must have deleted it by accident. The light is very bright at maximum setting and when set to white, helps immensely. The timer function is very handy having three settings of 6 hours, 12 hours and 16 hours. The dimmer function has 5 settings and you can subtly change the color of the LEDs including bright white and blue. You can choose whether to mount it using a padded crocodile clip (so it doesn't damage the surface of whatever it is you've clamped it to) or a spike to keep in a plant pot. Overall this is an awesome light and I will be buying another soon to keep with my soldering gear.

We wanted to grow indoor herbs for cooking. We have had very little success with this in the past in our home in winter as it gets really cold and the air is dry from all the heating. We got the lamps ans tried them in the end of December here in Québec, Canada. It is pretty cold. We had little hope for successfully sprouting our seedlings. But after only 6 days, the basil was sprouting and after 8 days the cilantro was as well. It has a small foot print, which is great as space is always an issue in our home. Also, it is great that you can either attach the lamp to the pot or a nearby shelf or you can stick it in the dirt with the pot. The timer has 3 settings which we love because you can adapt the light exposure depending on the need of the plant/herb/etc.
