LEGERE Bariton Sax Signature 3

I'd heard good reports about these reeds, and decided to give one a go: I'm a fan.They sound as good to me as a cane reed, and they're completely reliable: every time I put one on the sax it behaves the same. It also doesn't dry out, so I can leave it on the sax for days at a time. I now have 3.0 and 3.25 bari reeds (both of which I use, depending on how much noise I want to make), and a 3.0 tenor reed. I haven't had to replace one yet, so I don't know how long they last or whether there's any sample to sample variation.I don't think I'll be going back to cane.

Ces anches “légères” sont parfaites.

Molto pratica e comoda da usare. Inizialmente ero molto scettico, ma dopo averla provata mi sono ricreduto alla grande....molto meglio delle ance in canna...lo strumento ha una resa e una potenza di suono di gran lunga superiore...consigliata.

Super anche qui permet de jouer de suite sans avoir a trouver la bonne dans la boîte de 10 qui convient après l’avoir « faite » pendant des heures…Seule limite, si on joue plus d’une heure, la condensation n’est pas absorbée comme sur une anche classique, mais c’est vite fait de l’enlever pour l’essuyer.J’adore, c’est ma deuxième.La première a duré plus de 6 mois en jouant beaucoup.

I play bari in a community band that practices together once a week for a few hours and then I practice on my own a few hours a week as well. That said my traditional reeds were warping quickly due to moisture and drying and I was wasting a lot of money on new reeds. I decided to try these and they sound almost identical to my normal reeds, they play incredibly easily and don't require prep. They are a bit harder on the mouth, but that is quickly adjusted for. Quality is great, it looks like a normal reed but clear. If you bump something you don't need to worry if your reed chipped which is also nice. The only downside you'll notice is having to empty your spit valve as these don't absorb water.
