I just bought it and Love it!

Legere is so far the best synthetic reeds I have used. The French cut provides a more focused sound in comparison to the American Cut. Feels a bit less free blowing as well, but still comfortable. That’s the one I’m using on alto since it is out (I’ve come from the American cut).

Seit ich die Reeds spiele, benutze ich keine Reeds aus natürlichen Stoffe. Sehr leichte Ansprache, sehr natürlicher Sound. Ich höre kein Unterschied zu natürlichen Reeds. Haltbarkeit ist super. Ich habe die für mich das perfekte Reed gefunden. Ich spiele ein Yamaha Alto Sax Yas-280 mit einem Syos Smoky 5 Mundstück. Passt perfekt zu einander. Ich kann ohne Probleme von Pianissimo bis Fortisimo in allen Lagen spielen. Perfekte Kontrolle über die Intonation.

These reeds are the absolute best reeds I have ever used! No need to warm up and get them wet, or as I normally do, run hot water over my mouth piece and reed for a quick performance! I love these reeds and my tone, low and high notes can be reached with ease! Amazing

I like this French cut more, I am able to get a more centered tone whilst still maintaining flexibility. Great reed with awesome projection and articulation is easier to produce more cleanly with this than any of the other reeds from legere I’ve used on Yamaha 62 with Jody Jazz DV metal mouthpiece and it sounds lovely.
