To most of us, when we draw the selection of paper is on par with the choice of graphite or colored pencil brand. In other words, those choices directly influence the “look” and very much so the professional quality of the final product.An otherwise excellent artist is only hurting him or herself by choosing inferior tools. Why do that? I have been through many papers for my graphite and colored pencil work and Stonehenge has proven hands down to be one of the best for dry media. I love the variety of soft toned colors, and without a doubt your drawings will look their best on this paper. In particular, I am pretty heavy-handed with my colored pencil “layering” to get just the hue or glow I want, and some other papers tend to begin small tears as I grind away ... aargh!! But this heavy paper takes it all in stride, which was highly refreshing the first time I tried it.If you’re a pro like I am and actively sell your work, you are aware that tool choice drives the look and feel of drawings especially, and sometimes you may want a ‘look’ that requires a different set of pencils or paper, but ... inform me that I’m going to draw and paint on a desert island for 20 years with no further supplies once I get there, and my first order for my drawing work will be a truckload of these Stonehenge pads! ✍️😎👍🏼

THIS IS A NICE COLLECTION OF SUBTLE TINTED PAPER AND CAN BE USED ON IT'S OWN FOR PENCIL OR COLORED PENCILS, OR AS A WONDERFUL EVEN BACKGROUND TO USE UNDERNEATH DRAFTING FILM. STURDY AND DURABLE PAPER AND EASY TO CUT INTO SMALLER SHEETS. VERY GOOD QUALITY PAPER.

A beautiful pad. This paper is excellent for coloured pencil work. They layer beautifully and I love the subtle colour range of the paper itself. It has a delicate grain, which I have found is perfect so far for realistic portrait drawing and colouring and lends itself to fine detail. Love it
