I was pleasantly surprised to find a wooden guitar stand, and even more pleased to see the bottom of it was shaped in such a way it could accommodate both thin and thicker instruments. Currently I have dedicated stands for acoustics and electrics, but one cannot do the other. I could rest an electric on an acoustic stand but the bottom being meant for thicker guitars, it could slide forwards and backwards. This stand is shaped so electric guitars can still rest in it without moving around.I did try the stand with pretty much every guitar I have, including a ukulele and a mandolin (both pictured). I wouldn't recommend this, despite what the product image may show, because my ukulele (a Tanglewood TU7 soprano, which admittedly is one of the smaller ukes you would get) almost fit between the bottom rests. and the next was resting between the apex of the back wooden batons. It was a similar result for the mandolin.However, my acoustics (one slim, one dreadnaught), bass (pretty heavy), and SG all sat on the stand very well. My main concern would be the impact the stand would have on a guitar with a nitrocellulose finish. You may or may not know, nitro reacts with all sorts of surfaces and the sort of foam rubber usually used on these stands can cause nitro to discolour. This stand doesn't seem to have any information about that so just be careful. You can always wrap a bit of old t-shirt around the parts the guitar will touch just to be safe.The stand actually arrives in pieces and has a brief set of instructions to show you how to put it together. It really isn't challenging, and they even provide you with an allen key.All in all, it's a great stand and will become my "always out" stand in my tiny studio so I don't have to swap the stand every time I want to swap guitars.

Non vi è necessità di attrezzo alcuno, perché in dotazione è fornita una chiave a brugola adatta a fissare le viti delle le zampe. L'incastro è sagomato in modo da essere auto - centrante, dunque è sufficiente stringere con una certa forza e tutto andrà a posto. A questo proposito, un suggerimento: il legno è un materiale soggetto a movimenti, anche piccolissimi, dunque è opportuno tenere la chiave a portata di mano per un eventuale futura necessità di stringere ulteriormente, una volta stabilizzatosi. I supporti per la chitarra, che appaiono robusti e ben foderati, non dovrebbero dare problemi di stabilità nel tempo o di danni estetici agli strumenti, e si fissano con due viti a testa sagomata che permettono il fissaggio senza cacciavii o altro, semplicemente stringendo bene il supporto plastico a farfalla.Complessivamente, un buon prodotto, semplice e leggero, che sembra non aver nulla da invidiare a prodotti di marca aventi struttura metallica: essi, pur sembrando più robusti, presentano alcuni aspetti critici che si manifestano nel tempo e li possono rendere inutilizzabili, mentre questo prodotto, con il suo sistema di bloccaggio in apertura nella parte posteriore dei supporti, appare essere più affidabile.

Esto permite que el soporte se adapte a diferentes tamaños de instrumentos, lo que es útil si tienes varios tipos de guitarras o instrumentos de cuerda.

Alors en premier lieu, ce stand pour guitare est tout simplement superbe, loin des horreurs en plastique qu'on trouve un peu partout.Fait de bois de noyer, il a fière allure.Il est léger mais stable. J'y ai posé une guitare acoustique folk (donc très légère), mais une guitare électrique et, surtout une basse, qui pèse quand même quelques kilos, et il n'a pas bougé. L'instrument est resté solidement en place.Son prix, moins de 30 euros au 12 novembre 2023, est largement justifié, et même un peu plus.Vraiment, c'est une bonne surprise, car j'en ai vu passer des stand guitare de ce type qui ne permettaient aucune stabilité à un instrument un peu lourd.Celui-ci est parfait.L'ensemble arrive en pièces détachées mais il est très rapidement monté, avec les vis et clé fournies.
