The Leki poles are expensive and therefore I hoped for strength and durability with a first class service if needed.I slipped on a downhill and used the pole to keep balance. It snapped. I was midway through a 55 mile ultramarathon.I contacted Leki to request a replacement pole. They wouldn’t even sell a pole as a single item. They said it was accidental damage therefore I should try and claim on insurance.There only offer was a new set of poles at full price.

love this product! bought to take on my long ultra-marathon trail runs and when doing elevation training. very nice for downhill technical trails too. would highly recommend if you are looking to add hills or technical sections in your running regimen

I've used poles for over a decade and I was initially super excited to use these. I unboxed these ready to head to the trails and during my first time using these the right pole unexpectedly snapped where the 1st third and second join (see image for details). As you can see from the photo these poles are brand new and have been used for no more than 3 hours.I am rather disappointed as these retail at $250 and I am seemingly finding it difficult to get in touch with Leki Customer Support to see if they are defective and if they can be replaced.I love the weight, the feel and the design but unfortunately I must compare them to a pair of black diamond poles I exclusively used for 5 years before needing to replace them. In contrast my black diamond poles (carbon fibre model) held up splendidly and never showed sign of cracks or breaking even under many days of use during ultra's and hike and fly races.Sorry for the negative review but the story must be told. Hoping Leki find a way to work with me on this...

I used the LEKI Ultratrail FX.One Superlite poles for training and was excited to use them in my race. Unfortunately, they snapped like a dry twig when I needed them to support me. I paid more for them because they are supposed to be top quality, and I was greatly disappointed.
