Indispensable : la poignée, avec ce revêtement souple, change tout ! Infiniment plus confortable et pratique à porter qu'avec le collier d'origine, c'est pour moi le point essentiel car je n'utilise jamais de trépied 😃Je peux partir maintenant pour des heures de photo sans problème avec mon Z9 + 180-600 parfaitement en main 👍

While I love this lens, I'll echo what a lot of other folks have said online that Nikon could have done a much better job on the collar. The Nikon collar is so short I can only get 3 fingers around it when spun around to use as a handle, and this was made even less comfortable when adding the capture plate necessary for it to work with my Peak Design tripod. The Leofoto is a huge improvment, as it's firm rubber pad makes for a much more comfortable AND secure handle. I was also pleased that with a little care I can get it to pop onto my Peak Design tripod head without having to remove either of the two pins. One Pin goes in the QD hole, one goes in the hollow space at the front of the collar. I'd rather have to take a bit more care to pop it on vs lose this extra side-to-side retention the pins provide, especially when using the capture clip on the bottom of my camera body with other lenses.I was surprised to find myself the first reviewer of this collar on Amazon, but I'd seen positive feedback on the Leofoto on forums and from YouTube reviewers. The only edge I'd give to the Nikon is that it has loops for attaching a strap to, but I plan to get a QD mount that should solve that for the Leofoto. I'd heard good things about Kirk too, but it was a lot harder to swallow a $265 collar on the heels of a $1900 lens purchase, and it doesn't even have the nice rubber pad the Leofoto has.
