These pliers work great! I use these for Paracord and they grip it so well! I love having an actual spring in between instead of the metal pieces that always come apart. The grips on the handles stay in place well. My only complaint is I wish there were more of a cushion on the handles, but they are still the best pliers I have used.

The bend angle of the pliers is very satisfactory and the serrations are well defined, so the pliers grip well without any play at the tips. There was some minor pitting in the metal handles not covered by the green coating, but most annoying was the rusty oil that kept oozing out of the hinge area. It required lots of penetrating oil, and repeating flushing with a clear oil, to get rid of it. Some steps in quality manufacturing were seriously skipped.
