This item was listed as used by Amazon. It clearly stated that there was a small blemish on the front.I was a hesitant to purchase it but figured, what the hell its a guitar strap it will get damaged with regular use, so I purchased it. Well let me tell you it was in new condition! I could not find the blemish and the strap is just great. I use it on my Gretsch which is heavy and it supports the weight without me feeling it on my shoulder.GREAT JOB AMAZON!!

I guess that I am NOT special. I thought that other reviews complaining of creasing was an abberation or just plain pickiness of the reviewers. I fairly certain that I was wrong.The strap cost 100 CAD - not cheap. The strap looks well made and will almost certainly fit my needs. So, I was willing to treat myself to this to complete my new purchase of bass and amp. However, the strap was received today crushed in places because of the packing. It looks disgraceful. I do not know the vendor but Levy's and Amazon should reconsider supporting the vendor or re-write the rules of their engagement.I will give the strap 36 hours to 'recover'. If it does not do so, it WILL be going back.(If the strap recovers, I'll write an edit or another review.)

I ordered this strap for my old Yamaha, this is a great strap with thick connection points. Works well with strap locks (dunlop) this strap is very wide, and is leather. I was disappointed at first because is is kinda stiff however it does not affect the performance at all, I believe there is some type of stiffener to keep it from curling. I only give it 4 stars because I think the fit and finish could have been better (It is not bad but it is not stellar). I love mine and have developed a bias for Levy's straps because of it.
