This kit goes well with MY1016 electric conversion. It allows for left side mounting so no need for messing with gears the bike came with stock and it's the only way to make it work with a single speed beach cruiser. I converted a mountain bike first (red one in photos) and that was more difficult because you need to remove the multi-gear from the rear wheel. You end up with just one gear in the back for pedaling anyway so might as well go with the beach cruiser to start with. The mounting plate can be cut and hammered into whatever fits with washers etc. to make it all line up. It sometimes fits well without modification if you have the right frame but don't count on it. If you mount it according to the manufacturers plan, your heel will be hitting the motor. Both of these bikes are only 24 volt 250 watt setups but move along quite well. If you are handy this is much less expensive than a factory electric bike.

One rubber clamp disk had chunk missing, large sprocket and motor sprocket adaptor were not stainless steel but ordinary steel coated black , photos of product showed different better quality items , clamp sections were three part not two part ( cemicircles ) and low quality , at the very least Amazon should ensure the description photos are what's sent , shame on Amazon for allowing L faster to sell this tat , didn't think amazon did bait and switch , don't buy until they sort it out
