Lickimat Playdate Kat Turkoois

I ordered two items and both were sticky and I can see my fingerprints on it,... which I think it is not very hygienic for my cats to lick on it. The fishes looks cute though.

Mon chat aime beaucoup quand je lui mets sa pâtée sur ce tapis de léchage. Il prend tout son temps pour manger. Attention : ne fonctionne pas bien avec les pâtées avec morceaux (je prends d'autre pâtées pour ce tapis). Seul bémol qui fait que je ne mets pas 5 étoiles : lavage à la main obligatoire. Je conseille de laisser tremper directement après usage pour ne pas avoir de difficultés à retirer la pâtée qui reste dans les coins.

The design of this food mat is great. This slowed down my faster eater well, which stops her from stealing her sister's food. Easy to clean. I recommend using gravy wet food instead of jelly as it's easier to spread on the mat.

I needed to find a way to stop my cat from scarfing and barfing. The dishes with the larger spaces in between them didn't help because she was still able to shove her little mouth in the gaps and take big bites. This little dish worked a lot better because the gaps are so small she has to work extra in licking between the grooves. I use wet food and make sure to really squish the food into the grooves. If I just plop the food on top and spread it around it doesn't work. Really pack the food in there so it requires a lot of slow licking to get every bit of food.Cleaning is easy if I don't clean it as soon as she finishes eating. I let the crumbs dry up and then spray it down with a strong jet of water from the kitchen sink. The crumbs fall out easily. A quick scrub with a sponge after and it's clean and ready to be used again.I worry about her licking the rubber too hard to start removing pieces of the rubber and eating it but I haven't seen that yet.

Kurzum: Tolles ProduktDie Lickimat kommt bei meinen Hunden auf Empfehlung der Hundetrainerin zum Einsatz.Ich hatte die Matte für Katzen bestellt, da sie zum Zeitpunkt der Bestellung keine fünf Euro gekostet hat. Hier sehe ich keinen Unterschied zu den Hundematten und konnte auch noch sparen.Gerade für Tiere, die nur schwer alleine bleiben können oder in stressigen Situationen Ablenkung brauchen, ist die Lickimat ein Segen.Etwas Hundeleberwurst auf der Matte verteilt und schon sind meine Hunde eine ganze Weile beschäftigt.Da die Matte theoretisch zerbissen werden könnte, würde ich Tiere, die Spielzeug gerne auseinander nehmen, damit nicht alleine lassen.
