I love the shoes. I think they’re beautiful. They are comfortable except for my arthritis in my toes (which is certainly not the shoe’s fault). They arrived on Easter Sunday in time for my father’s funeral on Monday.

The show is actually gorgeous. But I'm 73 with a bad ankle and they're a little too high, so they're uncomfortable for that reason. But again, a beautiful shoe.

I found these after trying on a pair of regular black pumps in Kohls. I'm always an 8 but I noticed in Kohl's that the 8 pinched my toes. I did like the padded sole so I looked online for more stock, and fortunately Amazon had some. I sized up to 8.5 and they fit beautifully. The meet in the front with the elastic, is not snug against my foot, there's a very small gap, but I don't mind because I'll have room to wear thick tights with it and I'd happily trade a looser strap fit for a well-fitting shoe overall.
