I’d been searching for a butter dish for some time and originally wanted something fancier like glass or ceramic with a pretty design. I could never find exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price, and began to consider that since I was looking for a dish for everyday use it was likely I’d break anything made of glass or ceramic. I definitely wanted something larger and nicer than the old single stick Rubbermaid®️ container I’d had for about 2 decades though. I wanted a tray that would hold 2 sticks of butter or European style butter like Kerrygold. This dish fits the bill. It’s high quality sturdy plastic. Not the cheap type that scratches easily. It holds a full stick of Kerrygold or two American sticks with room to spare. There are markings molded into the plastic for measuring individual pats of butter, though that wasn’t a criterion for me. Another nice feature are the pads on the bottom of the dish that keep it from sliding on the countertop. There were some similar dishes for sale, but after reading reviews I found that some of them weren’t as large as they claimed. I’m very happy with this purchase and glad I took the time to read reviews before purchasing.

Nice butter dish, good size alternatively it could be used for cheese. Feels solid for plastic. Has non slip rubber on the base.

Un articolo che mi mancava, ora si! Il burro facile da prendere e da riposizionare in frigo, prima con la carta esterna era sempre complicato, lo consiglio compratelo!
