I love this little book. It's cute, sturdy, and well-made. I love the square format, and I really like that the cover can be decorated, but is classy enough to be left as is. It's a great size to do quick little sketches and play with ideas without a big time commitment. It's also perfect for travel as you can slip it into a pocket or purse easily.Is it cotton? I'm not an expert, but it seems comparable to the other inexpensive cotton papers I have, so I'll say yes. I don't throw a ton of water at the paper--except when I do--but it does fine with glazing, wet in wet, dry brushing, etc... It's cold press and a little more textured than I'd like but it has that dual texture thing going on and I love the smooth side. Again, I do not have much technical knowledge here, but the smooth side takes watercolor just as well as the textured side, so I guess they're both sized?I will definitely buy again -- the hot press version this time, though.
