These are great affordable watercolour journals. I enjoy them very much. The paper is as good as any of the higher priced cold press 100% cotton watercolour journals I have purchased. Be sure to pay attention in the description about whether it is hot press or cold press, because they are a much different texture and watercolour experience.

This is one of the more affordable watercolor sketchbooks now on the market. I liked it because it was a nice square shape instead of a landscape or portrait style. I'm pretty happy with the paper quality. I used some very wet washes and Posca markers, and the paper stood up well. I wish there were other options for the cover other than brown. In my opinion it is made well. I'm enjoying it.
