För att TVn ska lira bra med soundbar så behöver jag ha CEC påslaget, men utan denna lilla pryl så kunde jag inte ansluta Steamdeck samtidigt - nu funkar det!

The product appears to be good quality and does what it is supposed to do, thus I consider it as value for money.5 stars given for "remote control" is to give a full a full 5 star review but isn't really applicable to this product, unless you consider its purpose is to block remote commands over HDMI.Picture quality shows no degradation, I wouldn't expect it to, but in my case it was only being used on a 1080p connection.It certainly solved my problem which was as follows:My television has 3 HDMI ports.Originally port 1 was connected to a Chromecast and port 2 was connected to an AV receiver with a Blue-Ray player connected to it.When the AV receiver and / or Blue-Ray player were turned on the television would automatically switch to the correct HDMI input and I could control the AV receiver and Blue-Ray player using the television's remote control via the HDMI link, thus avoiding me needing to use all the individual dedicated remotes.I connected a device to the third HDMI port and the previous functionality ceased - the television no longer automatically switched to the AV receiver / Blue-Ray player and I could no longer control them via the televisions' remote control.Hence I suspected that either the new device, a security recorder, which obviously needs to be on 24/7, might be sending CEC commands that were preventing the AV receiver and Blue-Ray player establishing a CEC link or that the lengthy 15m HDMI cable to it was picking up interference and causing a similar issue.I fitted the CEC blocker at the television in the connection from the security recorder and problem solved.I am a little disappointed in those that designed my television as even if you manually forced it to switch to the correct HDMI input it would still not give priority to CEC commands from that source.

Ich habe eine Evercade VS-R Spielekonsole und diese hat scheinbar eine fehlerhafte HDMI-CEC Implementierung. Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass das Gerät offiziell überhaupt kein HDMI-CEC unterstützt. In jedem Fall funktioniert die HDMI-CEC Kette zwischen meinem TV, meiner Soundbar und der Streamingbox nicht mehr, sobald das Evercade VS-R via HDMI an den TV angeschlossen und das Gerät ausgeschaltet (!) ist. Wenn die Evercade VS-R hingegen angeschalten ist, wird die HDMI-CEC Kette nicht mehr unterbrochen. Irre.Die Lösung ist dieser Adapter hier: Seither habe ich das oben beschrieben Problem nicht mehr, es jedoch selbstverständlich bereits dem Hersteller Blaze Entertainment gemeldet.

This worked!My receiver has the tv, cable box and DVD player connected. The tv was trippin with all these devices. I put the adapter on the hdmi port for the DVD player (path: reciever >DVD port>adapter>hdmi to DVD player>DVD player) and now the DVD player is longer in the mix and not confusing the system. My tv and cable box are straight into the reciever, arc is turned on, no optical cable. Volume is controlled by the one remote-Sony tv remote. The only messy bit is when the DVD player is used, I have to use the reciever remote to select that input. We rarely use it so it's very much a non issue. Cela fait des années que les utilisateurs demandent à Google de corriger sont implémentation de CEC sur chromecast.Chromecast réclame régulièrement l'attention via CEC, ce qui fait changer la source de mon ampli home cinéma ... alors qu'on utilise finalement rarement le chromecast. Assez pénible, surtout pour les membres de la famille qui ont du mal avec la télécommande de l'ampli (un peu compliquée).Le bugtracker de Google contient pas mal de traces de personnes qui s'en plaignent depuis plusieurs années sans effet ...Bref, avec ce raccord hdmi qui ne propage pas le flux CEC, le chromecast ne peut plus faire des siennes.
