Liquitex is a world leader in artist products and this was an exceptionally good price point. I do sell commission artworks and predominantly use this brand for its quality and performance.

I use this all the time in my artwork and I love the Liquidtex brand. I used to use another, more expensive brand, but someone recommended I try this and it works just as well for less. And thank goodness, because I sometimes use a lot of it.I use this for a type of photo transfer that I do and this one is just thick enough to really adhere to the surface and provide enough depth for my photo ink to sink into to -- it gives a three-dimensional effect. It spreads well and has a smooth consistency.The only thing I don't like is how the lid comes off and goes back on -- it's easy to kind of bend it just trying to get it off, so be careful unless you plan to use it all at once. I tend to go through about a gallon a year so hopefully it stays nice and gooey until I use it all up.Overall, I'm still happy with this product and will keep buying it as long as I'm making my photo pieces.

Hi simply love this product. I’m mix it with my regular acrylic paint to create texture painting, and it works perfectly! Not Runny at all perfect texture.!

The product is excellent. The problem is the container it comes in and how it is shipped. There is no secure lid lock and the tub sits in a box with enough headroom so that when it ships and knocks around in transit, the lid pops open and the contents spills out. There is no additional packaging material to limit movement and impact. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Liquitex really need to up their game when it comes to packaging and shipping boxes.I use this product in large quantities and regularly. I don’t want to have to switch to a different manufacturer for a silly reason like this.

I like the product a lot. I just bought the 128 oz size a few weeks ago. What I am not happy about is the fact that I just went to buy another one and it has gone up $10 in price in the past two weeks. It takes away from the benefit of buying in bulk, so for now, I will use something else or look elsewhere for a better price.
