Good to have a compression gauge that reads accurate i had another brand from Autobahn that read 40 psi low so i am happy to have a Lisle Gauge which reads correct and would recommend Lisle to anyone

I recently had misfiring code displaced on my 2001 Honda Accord. I changed the spark plus and coiled, but this did not solve the issue. So I decided that I needed to check the compression on my cylinders to find out if I had a more serious engine problem.I bought this compression tester because it was American made and had a reasonable price.I tested all 4 cylinder compressions with this tool. All cylinders averaged 175 PSI or better. I tested each cylinder twice to ensure that the results were repeatable. So I now know that that compression is great on my car's engine and it is not the problem for the misfire.Though this hasn't solved my misfire problem it has eliminated a potential major problem. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to do this test.This is a great product and a welcome addition to my tool library.
