I loved that the package came together with a cleaning brush and cap remover. I shared half the package with a friend (so half the rings, a brush and a keycap remover).Putting on the rings made my keyboard (HyperX Alloy FPS Pro/Cherry MX red) slightly quieter and made typing actually more comfortable. I think the slightly bouncy stop at the end of a key travel is preferable to an abrupt stop. The loud and sharp plastic-on-plastic 'clacking' noise when bottoming keys gets dampened. Putting on two rings is also possible and further dampens the sound. Note that majority of keyboard noise is still present. If you move your fingers quickly across the keys without pressing them, that noise of the caps is still very present and will not get dampened by these O-rings.

I am using this on a Drop Alt keyboard and the reduction in noise while typing was noticeable, also they give a nice stop to the keys when pressed.

I bought these for my Corsair K63 tenkeyless keyboard, which has Cherry MX red keys. The keyboard is plastic and makes much more noise than my Corsair K65 with Cherry MX silver keys.Pictures are from the K65.The key noise comes from 3 sources.1) When pressing down and the the key hits bottom, it makes a contact sound.2) In the K63 this sound is transmitted in something in the keyboard and it makes the sound louder and longer (I'm guessing the plate that the keys are mounted on) and my plan is to try and dampen this sound with a foam mat.3) When the key is released, it hits its top level, which also makes a sound. The rings are in silicone and it dampens noise from 1) above. It also gives a softer feel, which I like. The K63 Cherry MX red keys specs says they have a pre travel of 2.1 mm, and a total travel of 4 mm.The silicone rings have a thickness of 1.5 mm (I measured to double check this). This makes the key register a key press after 2.1 mm and then only travel an additional 0.4 mm to land on soft silicone (since the remaining travel of 1.5 mm is decreased by the rings thickness). This dampens both 1) and 2).When the key is released, it will travel back to its origin with less force, because the ring shortened the travel of the key. So even 3) is less loud because of this. Not as noticeable as 1) though. These rings did not make my keyboard totally silent, but it improved by making it less loud.I saw some suggestions in another review that he tried 2 rings in one key, and I didn't find it made that much of a difference, but it did work. They key still worked, which i thought was odd given the specs of the Cherry MX keys, so I either they are not accurate or the silicone ring compresses enough when pressed to register a key press.I am very happy with this, as I was a bit disappointed by the loudness of the K63 keyboard, thinking it would have a similar soundlevel to my K65, but it did not.The generous amount of rings supplied in this package, made it possible for me to also silence my K65 and my sons cheap keyboard. Nice :) and I also have rings to spare. The supplied tool to remove the keys worked well and I also liked the included brush to brush off some of the dust on my dusty old K65 :)And the price was right :) (120 SEK or around $12)

"Gamepower Starscream Optik Red Switch" klavye kullanıyorum.
