Tested it out a few times so far, but only in bed and not inside a sleeping bag yet.It does help to insulate slightly but the most important point is that it is wide enough for me to stuff a bolster and blanket inside to keep me even more snug and warm.Able to roll around inside does give it extra points too. I'm about 5 ft 5 and it's very nice for me.

I bought this product for an additional layer in my sleeping bag for camping and happily surprised by how it is highly versatile that could be used for many purposes.First, this item is humongous yet super compact. The length of this liner is roughly about 7’ which practically makes anyone fit in, and the width is about 20” for the narrowest part, so there will be plenty of room. If thin, even two persons would fit too. However, this product only weighs about 17oz. That’s incredibly light. Not to mention, it’s super compact too. It literally fits on my hand. Yet, this product is not one of those “so-claimed ‘compactly packed’ but once you take it out, it’s impossible to place it back” deals. You can fold, roll, and put it back without hassle.Second, the texture, my goodness, it’s euphoric. The texture of this item is super smooth and dry...but also super stretchy! It makes you feel as if you are sleeping in a smooth velvet sheet of a luxurious hotel. The liner is thin but it seals the heat yet not humidity. As shown in the attached photo, the bigger-end of the liner could be tightened with rubber string with the knot too. This liner is perfect for an extra layer when you go camping!Third, as this item is super compact, I am having an impression that this liner could be used for multiple occasions. For example, I believe I can bring this liner for travel and use it as an extra layer of blankets at a foreign hotel or on an airplane when I feel chill. As this product is so compact, it literally can be fit in any tiniest space in my baggage, which was a happy surprise for me.However, as you can clearly see, this item should be used as an additional layer and not as a regular sleeping bag. Well, at least in cold settings. Maybe you rather prefer this liner over a sleeping bag during steamy summer nights.I am super happy with this purchase and confident the item will be our lasting travel companion wherever I travel.
