I had to replace my old 50-watt ceramic lamp after a year. It always maintained a steady 30 degrees, but with this lamp, I can't reach 30 degrees in the terrarium. It stays at 23 degrees. I tried the second lamp from the set, but it also stayed at 23 degrees. I have no idea what's wrong with these lamps, but as soon as you put your hand under them, you can tell they emit very little heat. I immediately ordered different ones from elsewhere.
