This is the stove I have been waiting for. I switched some time ago from carrying a small gas stove when backpacking to taking a Trangia triangle. This new stove is about 2 oz. heavier than that, but to my mind its additional versatility makes it well worth the little extra weight. I bought the bigger Lixada woodburner earlier this year, and it's been fabulous, giving a comparatively huge fire for extended cooking or just a sense of general well-being - but there's no doubt it's a bit of a clunky beast to carry about, and there is no provision for using a Trangia burner with it (though it's not difficult to improvise something). This new, smaller stove is a sensible compromise, offering the option to use either wood or a Trangia spirit burner. Using a solid fuel tablet will require a bit of ingenuity, since Lixada have decided to dispense with the bowl they used to supply with one of their models in favour of a plate with a hole in it into which a standard spirit burner drops. Getting the top and bottom plates to line up simultaneously is a bit of a fiddle, and everyone will need to devise their own method for that. It's quicker to assemble than the bigger stove since it is hinged throughout. Disassembly is quicker still - a couple of seconds is all it takes. I found the Trangia burner a bit of a tight fit. If you heat water in a metal cup, you may find it it too small to sit on the top, in which case you will probably have to thread a couple of metal tent skewers through the holes at the top of the stove for the cup to sit on; any saucepan, however, should sit on top perfectly comfortably. The locking pin is supplied with a wire loop enabling it to be tethered to the stove if need be. It all comes in a robust carry-case. Nothing about this stove is flimsy, and I expect to get many years' use from it. All this at an unbeatable price. Excellent.

Non l' ho ancora testato sul campo ma ho già avuto fornelletti simili e analizzandolo a una prima occhiata posso già dire che si tratta di un ottimo prodotto. Considerando il prezzo irrisorio non avevo grosse aspettative, invece si è rivelato un prodotto ben fatto, ergonomico e praticissimo (una volta chiuso e riposto nella custodia l ingombro è veramente prossimo allo zero, entra facilmente nelle tasche dei pantaloni, nel marsupio, dove volete). Leggero, facile da montare/smontare e -a una prima occhiata- con cerniere inaspettatamente ben fatte. Inclusa nella confezione c'è anche un pezzo di carta abrasiva per rimuovere eventuali spigoli, se dovessero rivelarsi taglienti e/o fastidiosi. Anche la dimensione la reputo perfetta per 1-2 persone, non troppo grande da richiedere chili e chili di legna per funzionare e non troppo piccola da risultare instabile o scomoda (sopra ci sta comodamente una qualsiasi pentola, tazza o Moka). Resta da vedere come si comporterà sul lungo termine ma per questo prezzo le 5 stelle se le merita davvero tutte.

Au premier abord je me suis senti déçu car trop petit ,mais franchement il fait très bien son boulot et il a multiples avantages ...pas beaucoup de prise au vent ....pas besoin de couper de grosses bûches pour une femme très pratique😀il chauffe super, eau boue 7mn avec une bouilloire ....même petit il me réchauffe ,mains pieds et corps en plus discret donc plus de chance de tomber sur quelqu un de tolérant si besoin et très léger .Donc je suis maintenant très heureuse de cet achat.

Articolo arrivato nei tempi stabiliti.....Facile da montare....pochissimo ingombro.....leggero......utilizzato un paio di volte....Per preparare un tè...un caffè.....al volo nelle varie passeggiate...va benissimo.....
