I managed to get this working after finding that a couple of solder pads had lifted off during assembly, although this may have been due to my using too hot a soldering iron.The circuit responds to music played in from a radio's earphone socket, although I thought I'd ultimately wire it to a line output from something when I get the chance.The instructions were mostly Chinese, but I found a handy website that provides an albeit rough translation of written text. This I have attached in case it is of use to others. It explained that the 560 Ohm resistor was actually 2k2 for the European market, which was a relief considering there was no 560 Ohm resistor in the pack.An entertaining little project... a welcome diversion during the Coronavirus lockdown!
