Nice and minimalistic, not too bright where it blinds you and very easy to install, and all for that for such a good price! Definitely worth it

Works well. I don't know if the light is really any better diffused than a simple table light with a paper shade, but it's very convenient to mount on the monitor and power with USB. Rather plasticky build, considering the price.The Logitech software is a bit over-the-top just to control the light. I uninstalled it and now use a simple script to turn it on and off automatically with the Macbook camera.

It works well and is properly integrated into the Logitech ecosystem. It’s a lot of money for a quite flimsy light.

Oftmals sind die Lichtverhältnisse im Homeoffice nicht so optimal, da der Arbeitsplatz zuhause in erster Linie an die Gegebenheiten der Wohnung angepasst wird und der Schreibtisch meist nicht dort platziert ist, wo eine perfekte Ausleuchtung herrscht.In meinem Fall ist es nun so, dass ich kein direktes Tageslicht von vorne oder von der Seite bekomme, sondern das Fenster seitlich hinter meinem Arbeitsplatz ist. Für das Arbeiten am Schreibtisch kein Problem, kein direkter Sonneneinfall auf die Bildschirme, alles gut. Bis zur ersten Videokonferenz...Hier zeigt sich das wahre Dilemma, denn die eingebaute Kamera in meinem iMac orientiert sich leider an dem wesentlich besser ausgeleuchteten Hintergrund, was zur Folge hat, dass ich bei strahlendem Sonnenschein aussehe als würde ich bei Kerzenschein im Kerker arbeiten. Um nicht zum Gespött der Kollegen zu werden, muss dringend Abhilfe geschaffen werden!Und hier kommt das Logitech Litra Glow Premium LED Streaming-Licht in Spiel. Es wird Dank der simplen aber effektiven Halterung einfach oben an den Monitor gehängt und hält dort ohne Schrauben, Klebebändern oder sonstigem Befestigungsmaterial sicher fest. Strom bekommt die Lampe rückseitig von meinem iMac per USB-Anschluss. Durch das Gelenk an der Halterung lässt sich das Licht zudem perfekt ausrichten.Ein- und Ausschalten, Einstellen der Farbtemperatur und Intensität des Lichts kann über die Drucktasten auf der Rückseite der Lampe erfolgen, oder softwareseitig über den Rechner, mit dem die Lampe per Kabel verbunden wurde.Letzteres ist mir besonders wichtig, da ich nicht jedes Mal an der Lampe rumfummeln will wenn ich spontan angerufen werde. Um die Lampe per Computer zu steuern, muss von Logitech eine Software installiert werden (für Mac und Windows erhältlich), die das ermöglicht. Bei meinem iMac habe ich am oberen Bildschirmrand nun einen Menüpunkt, der die Lampe ein- und ausschaltet aber auch die Steuerung von Helligkeit und Farbtemperatur zulässt. Zudem ist auch die Auswahl von voreingestellten Lichtstimmungen möglich. Das Ganze geht über die Software stufenlos und feiner zu justieren als über die Tasten am Gerät selbst.Die Ausleuchtung ist sehr gut, ich nutze meist eine Einstellung mit eher kaltem Licht und einer Intensität von 80%. Nur bei sehr intensiver Sonneneinstrahlung benötige ich die volle Leistung von 100%. Dann ist die Lampe allerdings auch so hell, dass ich sie beim Blick auf den Monitor als blendend empfinde. Bei Videokonferenzen nicht das Problem, beim Arbeiten am Bildschirm mit voll eingeschaltetem Licht auf Dauer störend. Insgesamt bin ich aber mit der Funktionalität und der Ausleuchtung zufrieden, die Lampe macht was sie soll und erfüllt ihren Zweck.Ich habe das Logitech Litra Glow Premium LED Streaming-Licht jetzt seit 3 Monaten im Einsatz und bin sehr zufrieden. Für den vergleichsweise doch recht hohen Preis und die fehlende Möglichkeit, dass sich die Lampe automatisch einschaltet, sobald die Kamera am iMac aktiv ist, ziehe ich jedoch einen Stern ab.Nachtrag vom 27.10.2023Mit dem heutigen Software-Update schaltet die Lampe automatisch mit der Nutzung der iMac-Kamera ein- und aus. Perfekt! Dafür gibt‘s jetzt auch den 5. Stern.

The Logitech app adds some value to these lights, but not enough to justify their high price. Still, it's a good product that lets you save on valuable real estate on your desk.

The Litra Glow is a simple to use, customizable and well mounted streaming light that is great for gaming, video conferencing, vlogging and more.The light is impressively bright and the Logitech G software makes managing brightness and warmth very simple. This is particularly good if you also use other Logitech products as you can then manage multiple items in a single place (I also use a C920 webcam and a Yeti microphone).I've tested the glow with 2 different webcams, a Logitech C920 and a J5 Create 4K model.Both saw their picture quality improved by the lighting although it was the older C920 model that benefitted most (unsurprisingly) with colour balances much better.Pros:1 - Bright with a lot of different settings options.2 - Good range of warmth settings for different occasions and times of day.3 - Solid mount which makes it easy to angle forward or back.4 - Good software management and interaction with other Logitech gear.Cons:1 - A tad expensive for what it is (though much better than a £35 light I had previously).2 - Only angles straight, no side to side options.3 - The mount is large, not an issue on a monitor but a bit unwieldy on laptops.Overall:If you are looking for a good lighting solution for dim/unevenly lit rooms this is a good option. Whilst not the cheapest on the market it provides a good level of quality and is still an affordable alternative to the professional streaming options. I'd definitely recommend for video calls (I use this 3-4 hours a day without hurting my eyes) but it might prove a bit too static to be as effective for gaming.
