I use it plugged in as a regular light - works fine. The RGB is a bit gimmicky, but it lights up nicely. The light works fine. Was a bit pricier than I would have liked.I haven't used it with the USB & app, so can't comment on that.The plastic mounting stand that comes with it feels like a cheap sort of plastic. I use it with an Elgato multi mount, so didn't need it.

Use this for my work from home set up. I use this to get more light on my desk to help me stay awake. It works straight out of the box. Comes with a wall adaptor. Simple buttons on top of light that can change the temperature/ shade of the white light and the brightness. And with a flick of the switch you can activate the rgb light.I don’t stream or work in the dark I work in a loft space with light colour walls. I do have windows on each side of the room but where my desk is the natural light does not shine directly. I found with this lamp I can adjust it as I need to make sure I get the right light to avoid eye strain and in return have less headaches. The RGB is an added bonus as it bounces of the back wall and adds some colour to add a bit of life to workYou can connect this to you computer via Bluetooth or usb c that’s in the box. This then gives you a ton of options for colours and control.

The product is cheap bulky plastic and does not look good as part of a setup. The light doesn’t really function unless plugged into an always on computer. Without this it the bluetooth would randomally disconnect and re-connect, making the light turn on and off at random times. It turned on full brightness, in the middle of the night, multiple times. Waited until outside returns window - but will be selling on.
