This helmet is so good. It looks very real and is comfortable without wobbling on my son's head. You do not need to make modifications unless you want it as a preference. The helmet fit perfectly and stayed put without slipping up or down even when running.The one suggestion I would make to parents is to add a dab of hot glue to each side of the helmet where you want the visor to stop. It does allow it to move too far down for my son.  My son would move it all the way down and cause him to look slightly tilted up when trying to look through it. He just needed to stop where  it was perfect for him. Adding a dab of hot glue to each side where you want the visor to stop will allow the kids to slide it closed without having to adjust it. My son chose this and absolutely loves it, it was the perfect fit and good quality ... he just sweated a lot lol
