Perfect protection for my Canon EF 24-105mm f4 L IS USM II, as well as the EF 16-35mm f2.8L USM III. I’m mentioning the specific lenses that fit as the internal dimensions quoted aren’t such a great way to work out the size that was needed. Both lenses are stored with the hoods in the stored position but with some screw on filters (UVB & Circ Polarised) in place and the lens covers also in place. I find the fit to be just right in terms of being snug, with little room for rattling around loose. There are numerous straps to allow for different carrying methods such as on a belt (great method for retaining the case in place), or long strap across shoulders or neck. There is a net style storage in the lid which is useful only for retaining the lens caps from the lens and camera body so they’re readily to hand. The protective padding is roughly 1cm at the bottom and sides whilst the stiffer top padding is around 0.75cm. There is also a horizontal strap that encircles the bag around the halfway mark and it can be tightened should you feel the need for even more security or, as is more likely, you are using the bags for narrower fitting lenses.Finally, I’ve just found a Velcro fastened back with a removable piece of stiff plastic, and also the internal base padding is removable though it’s not clear if it’s deliberate or just an issue due to manufacturing process. It’s not something I would care to try as I value my lenses too much to reduce the base protection by 1cm of soft padding and a stiffened plastic sheet.All in all these bags are made to very high standards and the protection they offer is second to none. I have no qualms in recommending them to those that value their equipment though with one caveat - it’s a tad difficult carrying several heavy lenses in individual bags, which is why I use the LowePro 450 WL Tactical.

Lowepro quality is exceptional. Perfect fit for my purposes, yet I did the measuring first. I use other Lowepro lens cases and they keep my money in good condition.

La bolsa, parece algo grande, pero es que si quieres meter dentro un Canon 24-105L con parasol invertido, o un Tokina 11-16 con parasol puesto, y además tenerlo en una bolsa suficientemente gruesa y dura como para que esté bien protegido, es lo que hay, no sirve una de neopreno (mucho más cómoda, pero al primer golpe...). En la tapa (también muy dura y resistente) cabe la tapa del objetivo, o un filtro, la gamuza para tenerlo todo limpio, etc... El poder llevarlo colgado del cuelo, tipo bandolera o cruzado, o acoplado a tu mochila o a mi futura Lowepro Toploader Pro 75 AW, es un puntazo, y no resulta incómodo para nada. También puedes llevarlo en el cinturón, con el plus de poder colgarlo a la vez del hombro para más seguridad y comodidad. Los materiales, inmejorables. El precio, puede parecer alto, pero es que la lente que va dentro, cuesta casi 1000€, creo que merece descansar en algo bueno. Si quieres llevar parte de tu equipo de paseo o para trabajar, y no cargar con tu mochila llena de cachivaches, estas son tus fundas. Una funda para la lluvia no estaría mal, pero supongo que aumentaría aún más el tamaño, aún así, una lluvia fina la aguanta de sobra. Buena compra.
