Good quality 100% transparent plastic film, very tough. Sticks well and it's easy to push out any bubbles. It sticks to itself well, too. It also peels off without damage to whatever it's stuck to, although I can't tell yet if that would be the case after weeks or months. The peel-off paper backing has blue guide lines in a 1 cm grid (a tad over 3/8 inches). The product description says "Easy Peel" and it is easy once you get it started but it's no easier to get started than any other contact paper. At least not for Mr. Fat Fingers here.I got this for craft projects rather than to cover a book, but I think it would do very well as a book cover too. It met all my expectations.

I used this clear film to back my daughter's school exercise books. It's of a decent quality - it doesn't rip or get crease marks from being applied.It behaves pretty much the same as comparable rolls of clear plastic films. Like with all of them, if you're backing an A4 book, a 30cm ruler is a useful tool to avoid getting air bubbles. Snipping the corners off, and cutting out a triangle at both ends of the spine, will avoid unsightly bunching at the corners.At 10 metres, this roll is longer than most - one roll will be enough to cover about 20 A4 exercise books.

I used this sticky plastic to cover some notebooks. It’s a bit tricky to apply but the grid helps you line everything up. It sticks securely and provides plenty of protection.
