La verdad que cumplió su función perfecto porque llegó el día del apagón y me hizo un servicio perfecto. No obstante era para la entrada de la casa para que se encienda con el sensor y ahora está en la ubicación que pensaba y en ambos casos funciona a la perfección. Muy contenta con las lámparas. Además vienen 2 y es perfecto por el previo.

Sometimes something excels in its mission statement so much that it’s annoying. We are so used to things not working from the jump, or requiring much more effort to work than we anticipated or breaking way too early for the amount of time, effort and money that we put into it, that, being disappointed with a purchase is just normal. We’ve come to accept that as simply our due. It’s the price we pay for living in times such as these.So when a product goes far and away above expectations, it tends to freak us out – alarm us – scare us. Why is this working so well? What bad thing is going to happen, since this has been so easy. We take it as our due that things are going to be complicated and messy – we believe that this is the user experience that we deserve and therefore, are instantly suspicious when something actually works the way it’s supposed to. When something can be assembled without watching a Youtube video, by simply following the instructions provided, we wonder what we’ve done wrong.It sounds ridiculous but, that applies to these magnetic lights. The kitchen is really dark. The only windows are on the same wall; one way up by the ceiling (and covered in a privacy coating which really annoys me) and a single thin window, looking out over a neighbor. And, when I’m making coffee at 3:13 a.m., I don’t want the overhead lights on, showing that someone is up. Or, when someone is wandering around the kitchen at night, looking for a snack but doesn’t want to turn on the light because they don’t want to wake up the cats.I got two for underneath the kitchen cabinets. They’re motion activated, so perfect for nocturnal ice cream forays. It annoys my mom, whose main objection is, “It’s always coming on! They just go off, I go to leave the kitchen and they come back on! This makes me crazy!” That’s what I like about them – I’m no longer walking into a completely dark kitchen. I can empty the dishwasher without turning on the overhead light. I can prep dinner just by the under-counter lights.The lights come with the magnets and the sticky-backed tags to attach it to the desired surface. Use the white cord for charging (also included) and charge it in a USB slot (the end blinks green when it’s fully charged). Remove the film from the sticky tags and place it in the appropriate place.If the constant light and dark annoys you, there is a setting that allows you to keep the light on, until you turn it off. For me, that sort of defeats the purpose of having motion sensor lights.But, it’s nice to have options. The only negative is – I could get used to products working the way they’re supposed to..
