Chemical smell that won't go even if 1 of the images states "tasteless/no chemicall smell", not recommended at all for inside use

They claim this product doesn’t smell but that’s completely false. It has a very strong, unpleasant chemical odor

I got this for my son to use in his recording booth, and it works great! It's nice and big, so it can cover an entire wall, and it blocks out most of the sound from the rest of the house. It's pretty heavy, so if you're hanging it make sure your screws are secure.

子供がもう一人の子供の部屋との間が障子のみで音が気になるようなので注文しました。障子3枚分全てを覆えるわけではないので防音効果は限定的ではありますが、”仕切り”としての存在感があるので安心感はある程度あるようです。工事などせずに設置ができるので、他にも色々な用途で使え、設置もフックなどで簡単にできるのがいいですね。

For an indoor solution, this is the best soundproof canopy I found online. It's lighter than industrial solutions but, still, it weights around 8Kg and it must be anchored to a strong support.I measured 6db attenuation from outside noise, when blanketing a double window, enough to soften high-pitched noise that kept me awake at night. I used velcro tape to scure the two canopies on the frame and overlapping them.As others have remarked, the canvas has a noticeable smell of plastic, like beach toys. It's not unbearable, but I suggest to expose the canvas to sun rays for a while and let UV accelerate the decomposition process that causes the smell.
