I purchased this gauge for my inflatable pontoon boat, even though I read a lot of reviews stating that it didn’t work. It fit the fill valve on my pontoons well. However, the inlet portion of the gauge did not fit the inflation adapter that came with my boat. The end of my pump hose fit snuggly inside the inlet so problem solved. Now to the other reviews. I have no doubt that some shoppers may have received faulty or broken products. It happens. One thing you have to understand, though, is that 2.5 psi in a low pressure system is quite a bit of pressure. 2.5 psi should give you the ability to press your air bladder in about 1/4”. It is very firm at this point. The gauge doesn’t have a 2.5 psi mark but it is marked at 2.18 psi. I believe that is a good reference point and the bladder is at adequate inflation at that point. I’ll probably buy another just to have a spare on hand.

Junk ,reads 0psi on my boat that has pretty hard inflated tubes

I use it on a Dave Scadden and I am not sure if I trust it or not. I may try a different brand before I critique too much.
