I'm hwite so take my opinion with a grain of himalayan salt lamp, but I had great success with this spice blend. Lots of whole spices like cinnamon and bay leaf and a generous amount of dried prune. The resulting dish was punishingly hot, way too spicy for anyone else in my Irish catholic family to eat. Just how I like it!

The flavor is awesome. I use it for more than rice. It really saves me the hassle of buying all the ingredients separately.
