I've had absolutely no problems with this thing, working as advertised since day one, very reliably. But other reviewers seem to not have had the same luck. It might be worth giving them a read.

Very good price. Ground connection between left and right speakers is common. Can not be used with bridge coupled class D amps. No problem for me. I just separated the grounds between left and right channel by removing the pcb and using wires.

I bought this because I use an old Rotel audio amp with no output protection and I hated the speakers making that popping noise when I switched it on and know from experience that if there is a fault on the amp it can blow the speakers and I love my B&W 601's and definitely do not want to kill them. This switch box works a treat. I repaired an old Sony amp recently and the owner wanted to hear the difference in amplifiers through the same speakers, so I wired this box with an input from the amp to the speaker output and another amp to another input and the speakers to an output (this is not what the box was sold to do but it does work arse about face).The box is well constructed of metal and along with other reviewers I agree that the terminals are small and close together. For what I wanted it for exceeds my needs and I got it at good price, highly recommended.
