Has all the things I loved about my Jensen speaker without the ice pick treble or fizzy overdrive. Still keeps those nice fender cleans. A great speaker. I’ve tried the Jensen, the Texas heat, cannibas Rex, and now the GA. The Allesandro wins hands down. I’m done rolling speakers in the blues junior.

A nice replacement for the stock speaker. Adds a lot more character to the tone.

I installed a GA-SC64 in an unmodified Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. It replaced an Eminence Legend, which I felt was too shrill in the treble and too flubby in the bass. The GA-SC64 was an immediate, dramatic improvement. It solved the "icepick" problem that I so often had with other vintage-voiced Fender speakers while providing resonant, round, and somewhat focused bass. Treble is airy yet somewhat crisp, like the best broken-in vintage speakers. Most importantly, the EQ is gorgeously balanced. All points on the spectrum blend beautifully to create smooth but snappy cleans and lush, harmonic-laden breakup. The GA-SC64 also improved my amplifier's tone stack response and dynamics.The speaker requires a short (perhaps remarkably short) break-in period. Cleans are beautiful and articulate out of the box, though the treble initially feels slightly disconnected from the rest of the EQ curve. This resolves after a few hours of playing at a moderate volume. Similarly, the new speaker felt a bit stiff and muffled in the mids. I had a difficult time eliciting note bloom and harmonics with a Zendrive, King of Tone, and humbucker-equipped guitars at bedroom volume: notes that would usually blossom beyond their fundamental felt a bit stifled. Again, this resolved within a few hours of play time with magical results. The speaker takes pedals very well. Dumble pedals sound like Dumble pedals. Klons clones provide round, honky mids. Fuzz circuits are thick and nuanced.The GA-SC64 speaker is one of the finest I've heard for a Fender Blackface-style circuit. It's airy yet never shrill; articulate; and extraordinarily well-balanced. In my opinion, it is a wiser choice for a Fender than Jensen reissues or British-style speakers. It keeps your Fender a Fender! VERY well done, Eminence and George Alessandro!

Put it in my Fender Superchamp XD and it sounds GREAT!

This a major upgrade from the stock speaker in my '65 Princeton . Killer sound!!!
