As an experienced second time mum, I was looking for a bin that would not require too much bending over, that prevents odors, no mess (easy insertion of diaper) without having to squash/push it them in) and no cartridges. After spending too much time researching the hundreds of options available, this bin met all my requirements and is a clear recommendation. A foot pedal would make this absolutely perfect, however I believe the more expensive option does include this, if you're willing to invest a little more.
