Great lamp, love it. It can run while charging. And I do charge it every few days, but I also do run it every day for a few hours.

This is a great little reading light that's easy to use right out of the box. The light comes wrapped in bubble wrap, inside a plain brown box along with a usb charging cable and a tiny instructions sheet which has images and is easy to understand. The light has some charge straight out of the box.The light has a gooseneck design that makes its neck very flexible. I like how you can move the light a lot to point in the direction you need and it has a simple one button design which isn't even a button but just an area you touch on the lamp base that it recognises you're touching. Turning the light on you'll first have a yellow light, another press of the button and the light becomes red, one more press and the colour is orange (a mix of the yellow and red lights) and a final press turns the light off. Pressing and holding the button will either dim or brighten the light which you can then stop pressing/holding when your desired brightness is reached. The details of how to press to dim and brighten aren't written in the instructions (just a general mention it's the same button) which is why I've mentioned it here.While I would have liked the option of a more white light or at least a whiter one, I do like this reading light and how it balances blue light and its simple but easy to use design. It's also lightweight which is good, although this means if you stretch the gooseneck too far sideways it can knock the lamp over, a minor issue. Overall very happy with this 😁

Both my husband and myself are avid readers, so when I saw this lamp was available I jumped in straight away.It arrived already charged, and has a 'bendy neck' for achieving the right angle.And although its prime use is meant to be for the bedside, this will be getting plenty of use in our lounge, where our lamps do not throw out enough light, and the ceiling lights are too bright (as in, not relaxing).Having now had a fiddle with this lamp, it seems the two 'non-red' lights will serve this purpose perfectly. And as it is entirely portable, I can switch between having it on my coffee table - as the light does travel the short distance to our couch - then take it upstairs for some bedtime reading.As I like its look, its portability and how it functions - its 5 happy stars from me and hubby.

Good light, easy to use with nice colour ranges, battery life isn’t great but can leave it plugged in
