The buckles are solid and fold down out of the way when placing it in the carry bag I have purchased over all very happy with the product but one must wonder how much Flying DJI do with their own equipment. They have placed the anchor points on the bottom of the controller where if they had placed them half way up you could use the neck strap to support the device now you must have it lose and when you let go of the device it hangs down where you cant see the screen. This does not detract from the safety aspect of the strap securing it in case of accidental dropping. It is a very solid strap and fittings.

It works just fine

The clasps to attach the neck strap to the controller work smoothly and the strap is pretty sturdy, not to thin, not too thick.
