Cranking the case trimmer by hand does have some advantages like feeling the case give when it's trimmed fully but if you trim a lot of cartridges you will wear out your shoulder for sure. This power adaptor works flawlessly and is well worth the price. I trimmed 50 cases in 1/2 the time it would normally take using a cheap cordless screwdriver. It's so simple to install if I want to switch back to hand crank for a small job it would only take seconds to change out.

Works well! I bought this for a spare because I like the first one I bought so much!

I convert a lot of 5.56/.223 brass to .300blk and it simply is too tedious to use the dinky little hand crank when you’re processing 500+ pieces of brass. This turns a 30 second cycle time into a 5 second process and doesn’t make my hand sore. I don’t think this attachment is worth it if you’re only trimming the occasional 40 pieces of 6.5 Creedmoor, but worth every penny if you’re processing lots of brass.
