These pencils are actually a set of 18 pencils, each a different color. Rather than a cup, they are packed in a flat tin box, which is pretty great for transporting.That being said, the pencils themselves are fantastic. The colors are bright and go on paper smoothly. I bought these for my 3.5 year old in hopes that they will help him learn a proper grip and to just have fun with coloring and pre-writing. The pencils are so nice, that I'd love to have a set of my own. However, they are full-length pencils, so I'm sure that my son and I will be able to share these for a while.Pricey, yes, but a great quality product made in Germany.

For some reason Amazon is picturing a big group of the multi-colored pencils. That is not what is described or being sold. This is the large set of Lyra Super Ferby pencils. These are AWESOME pencils, very easy for even a young toddler to hold, helps with proper grip, they last forever, have rich saturated color, are easily sharpened (get the yellow plastic Lyra sharpener, works best) and Made In Germany.
