This isn't a well made adapter. It comes with a little clip screwed inside it which seems to be designed to hold the lens in place when fixed. However, I couldn't get my lens to attach with this clip in place, so I removed it. I could then get the lens to mount pretty much, but it didn't 'click' into place and could easily be unscrewed without pressing the lens release. More worrying, the camera I tested it on no longer meters correctly, as though the adapter has damaged the contacts between body and lens. Avoid. Buy an official one instead.

Ho un vecchissimo obiettivo Carl Zeiss Jena "Tessar" con attacco a vite M42 sul quale però l'adattatore originale Pentax non funziona, fa solo mezzo giro poi si blocca.Per qualche ragione invece questo funziona, bisogna fare un leggero sforzo all'inizio e poi si avvita fino in fondo (l'obiettivo in questione ha una filettatura molto lunga), probabilmente per una differenza di passo di qualche decimo di millimetro.Ho deciso che ce lo lascerò montato in permanenza, visto che sulle altre ottiche a vite che possiedo l'anello Pentax originale va benissimo.

Adapter looks promisingly functionable. But- due to its extremely tight and rough fitting - I hesitate to use it for fear of damaging the bayonets of my Pentax cameras. I regret having to say that.
