Il controller arriva "nudo e crudo", solo scheda e imballaggio quindi mettete in conto che dovrete comprare i relativi cavi di collegamento per i vostri device SATA/SAS. Anche la stessa batteria è opzionale e va acquistata a parte per una trentina di euro aggiuntivi. Detto ciò il controller fa bene il suo lavoro. Tutto il software è disponibile aggiornato nel web. Scaricate immediatamente driver e firmware aggiornati e avrete ottime prestazioni, buone anche in modalità RAID5 grazie alla RAM integrata che fa il suo lavoro. Scaricate anche il Megaraid Storage Manager (17.05) per poter gestire tutto direttamente da dentro il vostro sistema operativo in piena comodità.

This card is doing the one thing I needed it to do which is to connect a 6TB SAS HDD to my PC. Getting it set up was a pain because I had to learn how to install the software and then update and patch a bug in the software needed to use the card. I don't think this was a fault of the card, but seeing as the card comes with no instructions you better be good at Googling or already know how to set up and use one of these cards. It also does not come with a battery so your RAID will not be power protected but since I am running my setup in RAID 0 I don't mind.

Also das Gerät habe ich gekauft weil ich gerade einige SAS Laufwerke hier habe die Gecleant werden müssen.Dieses Gerät gekauft weil Viel versprochen und es Taugt leider nicht weil es gibt etliche Treiber aber alle passen nicht zu diesem GerätDas Gerät wird ohne Treiber versandt und man sucht sich dumm und dämlich um zu erfahren das dieses Gerät eigentlich 0,0 wert hat.habe extra einen 2012 Server aufgebaut um von diesem Händler regelrecht enttäuscht zu werden.Dreister geht es nicht mehr
