I did not enjoy spending this much money on a pan, and now I am angry I didn't get it sooner. This is now my everything pan, as it is super versatile. I've used it as a saute pan, a sauce pan, a skillet and a dutch oven. I had previously purchased a 12" frying pan, but now I barely use it.

Using a saucier means no food sticking in corners and overcooking and makes any recipe requiring a whisk easier. A saucier is shorter and broader than the same sized pot, making it perfect for reducing sauces, stovetop braises, and absolutely anything on a gas stove.I have weak wrists and cannot use very heavy pans. Most pans that are light are cheaply made and have hot spots. The Made In 5 quart saucier is lightweight without compromising on quality. There are no hot spots and it has a helper handle. The finish is brushed so it looks clean after washing, instead of needing to be polished as well. The lid sits nicely.Follow the care instructions. This pan retains enough heat on medium to sear or brown, avoiding the temptation to overheat the pan. You might get a little rainbow haze even on medium, but it will come right off with Barkeeper's Friend.I intend to buy more pans from this company.

I cook A LOT. Have all types of cookware. This is good quality, heats evenly, cleans up well.

Lovely sturdy pan which I know I will have for life. Worth paying the extra for this decent pan and it’s going to be used for pretty much everything . Handle doesn’t get hot and the base has really good even heat distribution . Will stick to this brand for now on

Very well made saucier but just a bit big for my needs. Good for a family of 4+.
