I drink a lot of water, about a gallon per day. I have a medical condition that requires a lot of hydration and flushing my system. I had recently read about the benefits of hydrogen. While hydrogen inhalation is a more effective way to get hydrogen in your body, those machines cost hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars.I stumbled upon this water hydrogen bottle and did a little further reading on hydrogen rich water.There is a gentleman on Youtube that tests a Madeking hydrogen water bottle. He doesn't provide the model number of what he's testing, but I believe this product is a newer, upgraded model than what he is testing. His YouTube channel is "The Crazy Chef" and I would recommend looking up, "Madeking Hydrogen Water Bottle - Part 2" on his channel.His tests conclude that after running a cycle on his model, the results fall within the recommended hydrogen level for beneficial hydrogen. I actually run mine through two cycles to boost the hydrogen level even higher, well within therapeutic levels, I would suspect. Do NOT run three cycles in a row. I did this by accident and the pressure was too much and it leaked from the bottom of bottle.The model I have is MK-WWPG4. It is a straight cylinder. The glass is very thick and solid. It does take a while to fully charge. Although the instructions state that you shouldn't generate hydrogen while charging, it doesn't need to be fully charges to use. Just unplug it and use it. Then plug it back in to continue charging.The bottle shines red when charging and green when charged. The model that the Crazy Chef used in his video doesn't look very bright. But the model I have REALLY lights up. In fact...There is a surprise awesomeness when the device is infusing the water with hydrogen. Color changing lights! While this thing is doing its thing, it lights up and cycles through several colors. I didn't get this because I wanted something cool looking. But this is totally cool looking while its working!The water bottle is very portable, but it's glass so be careful.The only downsides I see to this is the time it takes to charge (which really isn't a huge issue) and that I wish it was bigger. It's 400 Ml, which is only 13 and a half ounces. Would be nice if it was in the 20-24 oz range. Like I said, I drink A LOT of water every day.Oh, and the usb-c charging port is a bit more than mildly frustrating to open. Not enough to deduct stars, but enough to mention. I understand that it needs to protect the unit from dust and moisture, but a little tab or something to grab would be nice. It can be a bit of a pain to open.
