Great portable OLED monitor. The display quality is excellent. Initially, it came with the wrong charger for the USA, but customer support was very responsive and sent me the correct EU charger quickly.

Writing the first review on Amazon on the 14" Magedok 2k OLED monitor. I don't usually, actually I never order something without a review. I took a chance. Read some posts on reddit and a few YouTube videos. It was worth taking a chance. I was looking for a lightweight secondary portable touch screen travel monitor. This little 14" OLED is just that. Be careful, it's light.Operational, on the back it has 2 usb c ports. The one near the top is for power only. The bottom usb c is to connect to your computer and allows data to pass and use the touch screen. The instructions don't detail it, but you can use the monitor without plugging in the second usb c port. Using a surface pro 8, the power passes from the usb c port of the surface to the Magedok monitor. It's bright. There is also a mini display port and hdmi port but they will only pass video, you won't be able to use the touch screen if you use those adapters. The usb c passes the data.There is a kick stand on the back with rubber feet to hold it from sliding and on the left and right corners on the bottom of the Magedok monitor. The kickstand is firm and holds the monitor well.The buttons on the side allow you to select, move up and down, deselect and power off. It's a little tricky to get use to but they work well. As some comments on reddit noted, the default setting is oversatursted. In a few minutes you can adjust the settings to a normal saturation. The OLED screen is a very rich display. Reading spreadsheets and documents are crisp and easy to read. Playing videos full-screen are smooth and lag free.There are speakers but they're small and to be expected. They work but don't expect them to be more than that.Overall, I'm very impressed. It comes with a light weight case. The monitor is rich color OLED. The monitor is light. Very light. It feels well built. I travel a lot so we'll see how it holds up. I'm impressed. It performs better than one I was using that was close to $1k. For about $250 this is a great deal.

Bardzo długo szukałem monitora, który będzie służył mi do pracy zarówno jako drugi monitor do laptopa, pierwszy do komputera oraz jako drugi ekran do telefonu z desktop mode. Najpierw skupię się na zaletach i wadach tego produktu.Zalety:- OLED jest świetny i funkcja eye care- OLED z funkcją dotyku i rysika (jedna taka opcja na rynku)- wygodny system podłączania kabli- szybki i dobry kontakt z obsługą sklepu- lekkiWady:- Rysik jaki widnieje na zdjęciach poglądowych nie pasuje do ekranu, brak informacji jaki konkretny rysik trzeba kupić aby działał, zwróciłem dwa, dopiero trzeci zadziałał jak powinien i był nim Lenovo Digital Pen 2- W momencie kiedy monitor jest jako jedyne źródło wyświetlana obrazu z komputera to przy przeglądaniu stron www dochodzi do dziwnego zwarcia i ekran się wyłącza, nie ma takiej sytuacji kiedy ekran działa jako drugi monitor. Zauważyłem, że dzieje się to najczęściej kiedy pojawiały się obrazy z dużą ilością bieli, jakby monitor miał problem z przerobieniem tego koloru. Dodam, że jasność ekranu była ustawiona na 6/10 - tak wszystkie kable były podłączone zgodnie z instrukcją.- w przypadku mojego telefonu OnePlus 12, który wspiera alt display mode, konieczne było zamontownanie huba, którym podłącze hdmi, usbc oraz usb do powerbanka, ostatecznie udało się, że mój telefon zamienił się w fajny tablet, ale strasznie dużo czasu zajęło mi ogarnięcie dlaczego monitor przerywał obraz i rozłączał w losowych momentach... Było to bardzo irytujące, w końcu znalazłem odpowiednie kable i na razie problem ustąpił. Ostatecznie cieszę się z ekranu tez jako tabletu dla mojego telefonu z funkcją desktop mode.Podsumowując: Spędziłem na poszukiwaniach idealnego monitora długie tygodnie, testowałem ASUS ZenScreen Ink MB14AHD, Lenovo ThinkVision M14 oraz UPERFECT TOUCH 16. Żaden z tych ekranów nie dawał tak dobrej jasności i odwzorowania kolorów jak MageDok i tu należą się ukłony. Niestety dużo czasu spędziłem na robieniu zwrotów za rysiki, kable, huby, które będą pasować do mojego setupu, który będzie łączył tryb desktop mode w telefonie oraz sprawnie działał z komputerem czy monitorem.Jeżeli MageDok poprawi optymalizację pod tym kontem i ich sprzęt nie będzie wymagał tylu kabli do sprawnego działania to zmiotą konkurencję.

All I had to do was attach the included HDMI cable and plug in the power supply. Everything connected and my Asus Zenbook instantly recognized the monitor. The settings menu is a bit awkward to work with because it is in the back of the monitor. Very small buttons and there is no way to look at the screen while you are making adjustments. You should be able to make settings changes using the touch screen but I haven't been able to get that to work. Could be an issue with my laptop because it is a touch screen. Maybe there's something interfering with the communication of the two. Not a big issue for me because I prefer to use my mouse vs my fingers. However, it would make the monitor settings adjustments easier.The display itself is spectacular, my laptop has an OLED display as well, however I can really see a difference between the two and this display is definitely superior to my laptop's.

I caught this on sale at around 150 dollars. This monitor is worth the 249 it sits at today. It works flawlessly with my samsung phone. Just plug the usb c cable to both of them and you will have about 1.5 hours of Dex working. This is not what I purchased it for but just a bonus! I used the box it arrived in and placed a Pi5 inside the box. A few cables later, it takes 3 cables to run it as a Pi5 touchscreen, I had Debian Linux on it. That was my plan the whole time was using it for my Pi 5 display and it doesn't disappoint! The Amoled display is beautiful and fast. Realizing what I had I hooked it up to my game pc and used it as touch screen inputs for my Microsoft Flight sim. It is so nice to set the radios up with a touchscreen! I am going to wait and see if the price drops on it again and buy at least 1 more.

Month and a half update: This panel doesn't use pixel shifting or have a pixel refresh feature so be warned. I already have major image retention with the panel and I only use it a few hours a day. There are now parts of the screen that are darker than the rest and it's super noticeable with gray backgrounds. Taking 2 stars off and hoping the manufacturer will add a pixel refresh feature or pixel shifting.Original review below:This little monitor is great! The quality of the panel is excellent. This is a 10 bit OLED panel with dark blacks and great pixel response time. It's 1440p at 14" so it's got a high pixel density, making everything on screen sharp and crisp. The monitor is very thin and light, making it a great choice for those who need more monitors while on the go. It also comes with a travel bag to store the monitor in. I use this monitor directly below my ultrawide 34" desktop monitor and it fits perfectly below it. The touchscreen feature has 10 point multitouch ability and it works a lot better than I expected. It's extremely accurate and feels great to use. I unfortunately don't have an AES stylus pen to test with this monitor, but it also supports those if you have one. The OSD menu has enough options to let you tune this monitor's colors to your liking. There's also a kickstand built into the monitor which works very well.While the price might seem a little steep, you're getting a lot of tech in a small package. A high pixel density 1440p OLED touchscreen monitor with a slim design that you can take with you while on the go.
