When I saw a friend using a magnetic chart holder, I thought ... I want one of those :-). Found what I was looking for on Amazon, ordered it, and it arrived very quickly. I like it! It makes working with complicated patterns so much easier.• As another purchaser mentioned, the small magnet affixed to the ruler had fallen off. And, as that reviewer mentioned, that was easily addressed by applying a small amount of glue and securing it to the ruler. No problem at all. Easily done.• I like that the holder "sits up" (so to speak). It makes following the pattern easier.• Another reviewer mentioned that it was necessary to fold a pattern in half (if pattern is printed on 8.5x11 inch paper). A larger version would have its advantages, but the benefit of the size received is that it is easily transported.• Would I recommend this product? Yes :-)
