The 3 screw holes at the end of each end of the crossbeam makes it likely that at least one, if not two, of the screws will miss the stud. If you cannot attach each end of this item to a stud with at least 2 screws I would not hang it and I would not recommend using this with only anchors for support. I modified mine by cutting the lower end of each end of the crossbeam with a hacksaw and hammering it down and then drilling into the steel with a colbat drill bit so that the holes were now vertical instead of horizontal. To add added support I bought some mounting plates and ran it over the holes as well. In effect, I turned it into an upside down football goalpost.

In general the idea is good, but due to poor quality, the idea does not work. This product has little screws to fix the handles for the microwave, but the screw just broke at my first try. Now its impossible to fix the handle and the whole product is just waste of time. Really disappointed.
