Leider ist das orange nicht so kräftig wie auf den Bildern, es ist ziemlich matt oder die falsche Farbe??Ich weiß es nicht, ich habe das knall leuchtende orange bestellt.Man kann den Nackenschutz zwar theoretisch hoch hängen, mit einem Druckknopf fixieren, dieser sitzt aber nur mittig, also wenn man da nicht super sauber arbeitet, dann hängt es zur Seite raus.Außerdem empfinde ich den den Nackenschutz für etwas zu lang oder der Hut ist nur für große Menschen. Groß im Sinne von über 1,80mDie belüftungslöcher sind ganz hilfreich und es gibt Kortteln am Hals zu Befestigung und oben an der oberseite für den Kopfumfang.Also grundsätzlich ist der Hut nicht so schlecht, nur für kleine Menschen ist er zu groß und die falsche Farbe ist ärgerlichn.

TLDR: Firm wide brim, thin material on the head, thin neck flap that can be tucked away In a washable and practical hat. Wife is nicking it.I am very fair skinned and would be prone to burn under a 60 watt lightbulb so in the summer a sun hat is needed if I am out and about for a while and essential if I am going abroad to sunnier places.This hat has a pretty wide brim of about 9cm which is fairly rigid (allowing you to position it and tilt it to the jaunty angle you require. It isn’t so rigid that you can’t fold the hat up to stuff it away in a bag or for packing but will regain shape quickly.This brim itself would give you fairly good protection around the face as required. However, and the important part for me, at the back there is a long (approx 25cm) neck flap. This doesn’t just cover your neck at the back but also will cover your ears as well as it folds around your neck and around the back bit of the hat. The top bit of the neck flap is mesh, to hive you a bit of ventilation. If not required the neck flap can be tucked neatly into the brim and it can be secured away with a popper.The hat itself (the bit that sits on the dome of your head) is very thin and lightweight which you will welcome on a hot day. The hat fits securely on your head and can be tightened via a small bungee. If it is a breezy day there is a chin strap as well that can be worn loose or tightened.This is a good lightweight hat that can be washed and at £14.99 is decent value for money. I'm pleasantly surprised how clever this hat has been made. It comes flat packed but simple reshape is needed to make it usable. The rim is wide and well protects from the sun rays. Hat comes with a chin strapwith a sprung buckle so in case of strong wind the hat will not fly away.Tge hat has breathable holes on and mesh with thin fabric pn the back for air circulation and protection from insects. If the hat is to big for you, there is drawstring to adjust to your head size.This hat is practical, lightweight, easy to clean and the bright colour will not attract to much of sun rays. Bright mesh is better in my opinion as I can see better through it, that's the reason I picked the brightest colour from the few others available here.Hat is great at protecting against insects. This will come in handy for those family members who work in the plantation.What's clever about this hat is that if we don't want the mesh and the fabric on the back, we can fold it and hide within the pocket on the brim and secure it with one snap button, see photos. I like that idea.Also if the hat feels too loose around the head, there is drawstring on the back of the hat, from top, to tighten it up the way you like.I'm happy with this hat, it's great and worth having.
