I bought these as a backup pair of compression leggings (they're the same model number my surgeon's office gave me: DMS085) and am so happy I found the exact ones. These are great post surgery compression leggings. They run a little small, so size up. For context & size comparison: I normally wear a M or L in leggings (M in full cotton leggings like the vera wang brand from kohl's, the old xhiliration brand from target or the cotton ones from old navy and L in athletic leggings with any level of compression like the ones from VS with the side pocket or the athletic works brand from walmart). In these, I was an XL immediately post op (and for about 2 weeks due to swelling) & in an L after like 4 weeks. They don't lose their shape, even after 24/7 wearing for the first week and honestly, they're comfortable. For compression leggings, I'm always prepared for some discomfort but these are great and not painful OR a pain to put on. And they also aren't see through (squat proof!), which was a nice bonus.Updated 7/11/21: I ordered a 2nd pair of these in a L after the swelling went down and the XL was a just a little too big (not as much compression in the legs & the waist was a little bit too big) and they fit like a glove. The DMS085 has a wider waistband and is less constrictive at the waist than the Maidenform compression leggings in model DM1001. Those also have compression but are nowhere near as comfortable as the DMS085 ones (these ones).

Had gotten another set from this brand that had much more compression, so while they seem fairly thick, not a lot of compression. Very high waisted which I did like, but if you're looking for any fat control, look elsewhere. Otherwise comfy and I'd say squat proof.
