I have been doing embroidery for years on and off, wanted to do some Christmas cards/Christmas gifts. I have quite a few threads but they are mostly light, mooted colours and wanted some bright ones and didn’t wanted to pay for DMC threads (just brought some DMC ones for a specific project and with P&P six of them cost nearly as much as this set). This set provided an excellent range of colours, just want I wanted, good sized hoops and lots of bits and bobs which are very useful especially if you are a beginner. Really good value for money at £15.99, especially if you were to buy individually. Wasn’t keen on the Aida cloth/fabric, strange colour but if you want to give embroidery ago it would be fine. Great starter kit and for those of us that are more experienced, lovely range of colours for those bespoke creations, when you don’t want to or need to use your expensive threads.

I saw some Harry Potter embroidery patterns on Etsy and decided I needed to learn the craft! This has everything you need to get started in one convenient kit. I was so happy to get as much thread as I did. The price is unbelievable for all you get. Super happy with this!
